I sold an item before Christmas to Germany and i posted it to the Hub the next day it took them two weeks to notify me it has left the Hub. I can understand a delay withChristmas Covid Brexit Etc But the buyer is getting quite upset about it. My question is Even if i posted on time and the GSP has taken a long time to deliver can the buyer still give me bad feedback for a delayed package. Certainly poor stars on delivery time at the least Can you object to bad feedback received in these circumstances. Also it is very difficult to talk to anyone about this...Thanks
As long as tracking shows you delivered to UK GSP centre on time you are OK.
If buyer leaves bad feedback, you can get ebay to remove it as was ouside of your control once item reaches GSP.
Just to add that I'm amazed that buyers are importing goods during a pandemic, when strict Covid H&S rules are causing huge problems for carriers and Customs, many borders are closed, and flights severely restricted.
But I'm even more amazed that sellers, who should know better, are selling internationally at this time. Surely every seller must know by now that delivery may take many weeks, or even many months...? And especially during the bonkers Christmas rush...?? But if not, where have you been, folks...?!?
I stopped selling internationally back in March, and won't start again until things are getting back to normal. Not that I could manage international shipping right now anyway, or need it, as my UK sales have tripled due to the mega increase in online shopping caused by lockdowns, etc, as they doubtless have for most online sellers.
So my advice is to stop selling internationally for now, to save your account and, more importantly, your sanity. Stress is the number one cause of a suppressed immune system, the last thing you want happening at this time.
Wishing you all the best.
