The postal section is showing very bizarre rates - Over £25 for a Royal Mail first class letter that should be £0.76p.
Is anyone else having the same problem and any ideas what can be done about it?
Thanks
Brian
someone who doesn't know what they are doing has re-coded that section and put the compensation amount as the postage cost
you can change it back by clicking change and entering the correct amount in the box
No I would never use any postage section on Ebay.
Surely it is not necessary to use an Ebay table for First Class Prices?
As has already been suggested, it's probably just some idiot at eBay who has messed up the coding and entered the compensation price in the wrong box. Therefore, in order to get around the problem, either alter the prices manually and set the price to what you want to charge for postage, or alternatively just list the item with free postage and include the postage cost in the starting price when you set up the auction.
Edit: I just noticed in one of your replies to another responder you mentioned that you were using the quick listing tool. Switch to using the Advanced Selling Form as it's far more reliable and eBay don't tend to alter various aspects of the listing without the seller's consent as they often do with listings created using the bog standard template.
