Does Ebay charge more than 10% final value fees?

Hi there im relatively new to Ebay selling and have sold around 8 products so far.

I belived Ebay charge a 36p fee for listing an item and then charge a 10% final value fee for when it sells.

I am selling an item for £16.99 with free postage. A few of them have sold so far

When I look at my account summary however and look at my balance it charges me £2.46 for each one which sells?

Please can someone explain how they got this figure.

Selling fees vary - they depend on what category you're selling in.

And there's 20% VAT to pay on all fees, listing and selling.

All Ebay's fees are clearly set out in the Seller Centre (link at foot of any page) and in the Help pages (links at top and foot of any page). I'm surprised you didn't check them out before listing your items for sale. That's the only way to accurately price your products.
