Clothing item I sold new unpackaged is age damaged.

I recently sold 2 items of clothing. Both were new in packaging that I'd never opened and both still had tags on. Buyer has messaged to say 1 has little holes in it. He provided photos to show. I was unaware of these holes as I say I had never taken them out of the original packaging. What should I do? Give him a partial refund or as i didn't know about this damage then no refund at all? He has messaged me twice now almost pressuring me for an answer.

That you didn't know is irrelevant. The buyer has received an item which is not as described. That is your responsibility. So tell the buyer to open a return request or case for not-as-described. They will tell you through the opened case or return request what they want - either to return for full refund, or a partial refund and keep the item. You don't have to agree to a partial refund, but if not, you will have to agree to a full refund on return, as per Ebay's Money Back Guarantee (which you agreed to abide by when you registered your account).
