Cant reply to messages. Ebay is saying 'server is down'?

I cant seem to reply to messages. I get a message saying 'Its not you, its us. Our server is down'. How can I sell my item if I cant give answers to questions?

You'll just have to wait till the server is back up. It doesn't usually take long, so try again later.
