Can i respond to Negative Feedback after i needed to cancel an item i was selling which was defective?

168 listings mostly of new items and registered as a private seller. 

 

I would suggest you change your account to a business seller before your account is suspended leaving you with a lot of storage boxes.

 

By upgrading your account you will also be giving your buyers legal rights.

 

Don't forget that by posting your question on here you have drawn attention to your trading activities to thousands. 

There is another way to deal with this.

 

Message the buyer, apologise for cancelling, explain in full why you needed to cancel the sale.  The buyer may agree to revise the feedback.

 

If you ever find yourself in a similar situation with a defective item, contact the buyer first and explain what the problem is, give the buyer the option of going ahead with the sale potentially at a lower price.

On your feedback page, lower down is link to leave follow up feedback.

However, you may be drawing attention to it, seller was obviously unhappy because you cancelled.
