Buyer from India

I listed an item and didn't receive prompt payment.  When I went to send invoice, I realised buyer had an address in India. I'm not an experienced seller and understood I had only offered postage to UK - this is the rate in the listing. It states posts to the United Kingdom, but then has an exclusion list running alphabetically from Bolivia to Venezuela, but no mention of India.

 

What happens now? Am I obliged to post item? It only had a final bid of £5. I did message buyer after auction ended with a payment reminder, but received no reply.  I haven't sent an invoice. To be honest, even IF buyer would pay additional postage, I don't really want the hassle of posting internationally.

 

Can I open an unpaid item dispute if no payment is received without having sent an invoice?  Any advice very gratefully received - feeling quite anxious about it!

Your Postage is set to UK Only. He cannot Pay. Yes open the Unpaid Item Case after 2 days in the Resolution Centre. Close after 4. Neither of you can Leave Feedback. Your EBay Final Value Fees will be Credited back to your Seller Account. You can then Relist.
