Bid on item, person who made bid would like to make an offer

Hi,

I have a bid on an item and the bidder has since made me an offer but, as the item is auction only, I don’t think there is a way to amend the auction to add a BIN or add a best offer. If I cancel the auction and relist will I get a black mark as I already have a bid?

I’m sure there must be a way round it but I can’t work out how....

As you have a bid you can't revise listing to accept offer.

You could end listing & redo with offers, but ebay will still charge you fees based on the bid.
