Yesterday when I visited ebay, I found out totally by chance that I'd sold an item 3 days ago, and the shipping is overdue. I searched all my emails but there was no notification email from ebay. This has never happened before. Im a private seller. Whats going on with ebay? Is anyone experiencing this?

Hi, Thank you for your suggestion. I've had a look and surprise, surprise, the notifications for selling were all OFF!! How could this have happened? I always received notification emails when my item was sold in the past. So it never occurred to me to check the setting.

Same thing occurred to me! Feel awful for the buyer. Thank you to all who posted and replied, really is very helpful. So may changes to eBay; can see why sellers are pulling out of this platform

Did you list your motorbike more than once? You will be charged each time it's listed, even if it doesn't sell.
Listings fees are non refundable, payable sale or no sale.
When were these sales? Perhaps an honest mistake occurred?
If listed recently, and you can show that the same bike was listed ,delisted and relisted again all in a matter of minutes , trying for example , to change some details, it is worth contacting Customer Services for them to take a look at this they may make a courtesy refund. No guarantees, but if this is the case, certainly worth asking.
Come back if you wish to see how to contact CS, it's not easy !

As advised but --- Cannot see the sale of 3 days ago --- What category did you list in ?.
Best way to sell a Vehicle is >
Classified Ads. at total fee of £19. 99 which allows the exchange of contact details for viewing and price negotiation over a 30 day period --- set the Start price at or near the price that you would find acceptable --- Avoid inviting Offers which halts the listing and sale may never be completed --- just continue to Negotiate an acceptable selling price and only remove the Ad. when you have a definite buyer with Cash in hand or a Bank Transfer is safely deposited/confirmed before handing over Vehicle keys/documents on buyer viewing /collection. No additional FVF selling fee is charged. --- Do not accept PayPal payment.
