Is the new buyer protection scheme causing anyone else headaches when sending and receiving offers? I agreed a price, but when the seller sent the offer it was way lower than the agreed price because it deducted the buyer protection fees before it got to me. I've counter offered but it then bumped the price to the seller up. Wouldn't it be easier to allow the buyer to decide at the checkout stage, or is this just a sideways move to recover the fees sellers used to pay by shifting it to the buyer?
