Can't get past "start my listing" page.

Hello I am trying to sell an item and the blue magnifying search glass icon is unresponsive, I've deleted my cookies/cache/history and tried different browsers. When it is clicked nothing happens, no freeze or anything it just doesn't take me anywhere or respond. I have attached a picture.

Any help is appreciated thank you.

Re: Can't get past "start my listing" page.

You have sold some fantastic and very high value Brand New items recently, contact eBay Customer Services, they can see your account and advise you of your next steps here to be able to list your items.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

 https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Re: Can't get past "start my listing" page.

Hi thanks for your response. I contacted them and they believe it to be a technical issue as my account hasn't been limited in any way. I can imagine it will be sorted out naturally as and when more people are affected by the same problem.

Thanks again, Rob.

Re: Can't get past "start my listing" page.

Hey Jovian, I found a few ways around for the meanwhile:

.Click "sell similar" on a previous listing and just edit entirely from that point.
.Use a draft you can not finished and edit it entirely from that point.
.Use the eBay app on your phone, it works. (A good way to do it if you want to remain on your PC is just make lots of drafts on the app, then continue them from your desktop.)

Thanks and good luck.

Re: Can't get past "start my listing" page.

Thanks pokerobert for those suggestions. I eventually got round the problem by creating a universal near-empty template and used that as the starting point for creating my listing.

Best wishes
