Possibly the couriers previous routing to Iraq were via Israel therefore Iran doesn't enter into it?

Anything's possible, but if you click through from the announcement to the RM site it specifically mentions Israel and Iran, but not Iraq...

I would not  ship to that awful country in the first place. Scammers. Had dealings with a buyer before from there. Sold a necklace to a “woman” she said she’s returning ias she dint like it.

It arrived nack with me but instead of a heart necklace it was barbed wire wrapped up in the tissue paper and put in the organza bag I sent it in.

As far as I can recall, Iran has never been on the list of delivery countries that eBay offers anyway.

I would guess Iran was removed from GSP a long while ago. eBay consider Iran an "embargoed country"

With the ongoing "situation", removing Iraq is probably a good idea and most transport companies have issues getting to Israel at the moment and a lot of countries are saying their citizens should consider leaving Israel.

I stopped selling to israel a long time ago. All part of BDS against the regime.
