"Simple Delivery", not so simple

I am trying to sell an item that requires a medium parcel, up to 2Kg, which using Royal Mail is a standard price of £5.15 for  a parcel worth up to £150 but now, under simple delivery, is £6.16 for the the same item. Apparently Ebay have set a £100  value limit for £5.15, over that it's £6.16. This is not correct and simple delivery should be using the standard Royal Mail tables for postage costs. It's also upsetting buyers who know what the standard price is and thinking the seller is overpricing the postage, not good.

Simple Delivery doesn't use the standard Royal Mail rates, as eBay has negotiated special rates rates with Royal Mail, but I do agree that it would have made a lot more sense for the higher price to be applied to items over £150, instead of £100, and thereby aligned with the compensation offered by Royal Mail which people are already familiar with.
