eCP number question

I sent a (low value) item to a click and collect shop with an ECP number, which I wrote on the package, but I posted it 2nd class so it won't be marked as delivered by ebay. Does the buyer get notified when the shop accepts the package with just the eCP number?

If the shop accepts the package and enters the eCP number then yes; the buyer will be notified.

However, if there is any problem at the collection point you will not be covered against losing the item and the funds. For example, the collection point might reject the package if they can't read the handwritten eCP code.

How did you pay for the postage, did you use a stamp? If so, where and when did you purchase the stamp from?

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
