I stumbled across this whilst searching iPhones. Under promotions and perks there is now a link to get a quote for your old phone / computer console / laptop etc.
It looks as though you can get a coupon to spend on eBay or the cash if you trade old tech in.
I was preparing stuff to send into CEX but now I have seen this I am going to compare offers and might test it out.
Has anyone used this service yet, how was it?

In case anyone is confused, if you search for something related like an iPhone or a games console you should see it below the buy button (I’m on the app):

Ah, yes, found it. eBay have teamed with Fonehouse.
Seems a good option for a safe sale.

Thanks for the link.
I've got a couple of phones I need to sell, I sent one to one of the online services, quoted £652 but when they received it they offered £320 claiming it was battered, it is 10 months old and still under warranty and in as new condition.
I know they will knock the price down but near enough 50% is a joke.
From what I've read a lot seem to do this, I hope these aren't the same.
£599 they have offered.
Even after all these years on eBay, I am still wary about selling a phone or expensive computer on here, I have never had an issue yet but the threat is always there, I don't need the hassle of fighting eBay the buyer and having weeks of stress.

I had a quick look at the terms and noticed the return fee was £10 if a revised offer was rejected. Not great but I don’t want to pre-judge it yet, if I trade anything in I’ll post back what the outcome was. I’ve got Xbox 360’s here and a few ancient iPhones to get shut of so fairly low risk items to test out.
I’m surprised it’s hidden away like this. I just happened to be price checking .
