eBay - New Payment Rules - Cant get my payments from eBay - eBay is useless......................

I have bought and sold privately on eBay for over twenty years. They constantly change things and it makes using eBay a complete nightmare. I think I am closing my account soon.

The latest is I have made two sales but under the new eBay unhinged system - I can not see how I will ever receive my payments.

eBay now expects sellers to pay upfront for carriage costs and send immediately but the seller ( me ) has to wait for weeks until eBay transfers buyers money to my sellers account.

So much aggravation. I've had enough with eBay.

If tracking shows delivery, payouts are available 2 days after that delivery date.

No tracking ?  Payouts available after 14 days 

For items under the value of £10 no tracking is necessary,  feedback left by the buyer releases the payout sooner.

If there is no money in the Available section of your Payment Summary, any amount pending can be used to pay for postage.

Well it’s more than 14 days and I still can’t access my money from eBay.

Feedback has been left.

Seller has to find money upfront to pay for postage.

Not all sellers have a printer for labels or want to use eBay label.

I don’t.

Postage in the U.K is more expensive than eBay thinks and it’s too
expensive to send everything by tracked postage and make any money.

I have been selling and buying through eBay for over twenty years.

The new system for me trying to access my money from eBay is the final
straw.

It is now almost impossible to get my money and I think it’s time for me to
stop using eBay.

This is one of many stupid inconsiderate ideas from eBay that will lose
eBay customers and users.

eBay will soon die in the U.K.

We have no access to your account, but from your feedback profile,  did you have a little break from selling and returned to sell?

If so,  your initial payouts could be held for 21 days as this is a security measure for your account and for your buyers.

Sudden activity on a dormant account raises red flags to eBay as it can be a sign the account has been hijacked.  Tracking showing delivery will speed up the payouts being released.  This tracking proves the genuine owner has returned to their account to sell.

This measure, and I agree is annoying when money is held for a long time,  but it does work, as I've seen far fewer questions on the forum from members asking what to do as their account shows sales they haven't made and now they owe a fortune to buyers,  fewer accounts now show being hijacked.

all ebay answers are negative and do not apply to my situation whatsoever. ebay needs to accept they are wrong sometimes. actually quite a lot. ebay will lose UK market with this attitude. the new sellers system will not work for most as explained by myself and thousands of others.
