why are ebay not taking strict action on sellers that are clearly drop-shipping from china and advertising "UK stock" but they are being delivered from China !
Something that should arrive in 2-3 days if its was actually from the UK, not 2 weeks !

If the item location showing on the listing is a UK one and your item arrives from China you can report the seller for location misrepresentation.

Chinese sellers have been doing this for a long time especially with CD box sets although eBay has taken the majority down recently.

They either said they were based in Hatfield UK which is just a drop shipping hub or just used other peoples business details as address or false home residence details. This has been going on for years.

This is quite normal for ebay nowadays, I have been caught out that way a couple of times in the past, even if you email the seller and ask if the item is in the UK or not they will lie and say it is just to get the sale.

I know people say on here "You can complain to ebay if the item page says its in the UK and it comes from china", but the truth is ebay dont care and nothing will be done about it, all you can do is leave the seller negative feedback and explain to future buyers that the items are coming from china, they are not in the UK as advertised.

Did you report the seller or the actual listing? Reporting the actual listing is generally more effective but either way it will usually take multiple reports from different users before eBay will actually take any action.
