Why does eBay allow fraudulent listings?

There a guy selling a GPU, its a graphics card for a computer, a top end version, a Nvidia RTX 5090 GPU

The rrp for these components is £2700

Theres a guy selling 5 for £1550 and he already reduced the price, it has more than 50 watchers, already 1 sold

He is stating it will be delivered mid december, so what will happen is sale done, money paid out to him after the holding period, the buyer has no claim coz its after that period?, the seller has no feedback, and there are so many lisitings. eBay is a place where you have to be so careful or your gonna get scammed, iuts becoming like facebook market place now, full of scammers

Why does eBay allow fraudulent listings?

Ebay never sees most items listed so it is pretth much impossible for them to know whether an item is genuine or not.  They state in the User Agreement that they cannot guarantee the existence, accuracy, or authenticity of items listed.

Buyer's have 30 days from date of delivery for a claim under eBay's Money Back Guarantee.
