Why are my funds still "On Hold" for 14 days, despite having selling history?

My funds are still on hold for 14 days after purchase despite me having now sold 6 items in the last couple of months. Had no problems or bad feedback yet they are still holding my funds.

I have actually sold 21 items in the last 12 months or so. My funds didn't used to get put on hold, I'd get them straight away but as I didn't sell for a few months over the Autumn period they started putting my funds on hold which I assumed would get lifted after selling a few items but no luck.

It is frustrating as I have quite a number of items to sell (several hundred) but I can't do if my funds are going to be "on hold" because postage costs would come out of my own pocket and that would soon mount up and I'd be left out of pocket.

Any advice on how to get this lifted would be greatly appreciated.

You just have to wait it out.  Ebay don't publish the trigger point for no longer applying payment holds.

If you stop selling it will all reset, so better to find the postage money elsewhere and keep selling to get over the hold.

Sending tracked helps.

Okay, thanks. Will keep listing a few items a week and see how it goes.
