Really eBay, do you have to mess about with a system that is working and turn it into a nightmare? This morning went to do some listing via my templates, and getting to the bottom of the page I realized that my postage options had vanished! Apparently I now have to set up new postage options for any possible scenario, each with a name and description. God help anyone who is new to eBay, as it took me nearly 2 hours to work this out! Now for some reason my managed payments and number of times I have selected a postage option are being counted and have a number next to them! What on Earth is the reasoning behind this?
Also, I have a very powerful desktop PC, and a fast broadband connection.....so why do I have to sit for several minutes while a `Preview` is generated for the listing?

Then you should be where you used to be, but you have to do this every relist etc.

That option was not showing on my laptop but was there on my phone, but yesterday it appeared back....confused.com!!!

Oh dear, it appears that SD is now compulsory, no other option available.

And yet if you go to the ebay page about SD, there is a FAQ "can I opt out of SD" answer yes you can change your postage in your listings....really Ebay?

Very strange things are happening. I came to list an item of clothing and had no option to customise the postage, hence my previous post. However, I have just listed some books and had the option to customise. Most confusing!!! I may add that I have tried the afore mentioned listings with ipad. iphone and laptop and had the same results across all platforms..

Try clicking on collection only
then clicking again on postage only and custom should come up both on the app and the browser ( t a k es A F e w Se c o n d s )
do check every detail ie weight and size of package as it’s very glitchy
theres zillions of threads on simple delivery here and not everyone can read them all so might miss the tips
I must say it’s not gratuitous criticism when I say this has been badly managed by eBay

This new system is TERRIBLE, it's taken me ages and a phone call to Ebay to even understand what I am supposed to be doing, then having done all this rubbish the postage service that I always used is not available.

I have spoken to an E-Bay agent & told him that i would be ending my association with them, (After Over 15 Years), of Using Royal Mail as MY Preferred Option, & not being Told By E-Bay what or what not Postage Option i can use,
He listened to my Rant( Bless Him) & told me to at least try the New Postage System,
That Apparently will not benefit E-Bay Coffers?? But only help Sellers,

I am 80 Years Old, & do not have an I Phone , so basically i cannot use E-Bays Postal Option,#
As I am supposed to scan a QR Code, to take to the Post Office along with the Parcel,
Because of this i have Deleted at least 6 of my listed items,(which did not have Bids)
Any with Bids on at the moment, if i cannot send by MY preferred option,
I will just end the listing & Refund The Buyer??
