What happened to international sales

I'm selling collectables and used to sell most of the items from UK to USA and EU. After 1st October  I have had just one sale to USA and otherwise just UK.

Has ebay turned to be like amazon, where UK resident can't buy from other than co.uk website, or what could explain overseas buyers not seeing ebay UK listings?

I buy from whatever Amazon site I choose, frequently saving money in the process when comparing domestic charges here in the UK to European.

It's an option open to anyone... simply scroll to the bottom of your Amazon page and select the country of your choice.

Yes, and for example amazon USA site only shows items that the seller is happy to ship to UK.

What I meant that has ebay set up a lock that stops US buyers finding my items after 1st October, as I get only UK buyers nowadays? My worlwide postage terms have not changed.

Does anyone have similar experience of overseas orders drying up.

There used to be an eBay rule that stated that if you wanted your listings to be shown to buyers in the USA the shipping cost had to be explicitly stated.  Buyers had to see the cost up front, not request an invoice.

However, I can find no mention of this in the eBay Help so maybe it's no longer the case.  If you're using GSP, then the shipping will always be visible to the buyer.

That must be the case that US ebay stopped showing items with no specific US shipping rate. I have flat worldwide fee outside UK, as the items a small and lightweight.

Before Oct 2024 I used to ship at least once a week to USA and now haven't shipped anything overseas for a month.

As you have a flat fee, try setting up the postage for the USA in your postage policy and see whether this makes a difference.

Give it a couple of days, then check .com to see if your listings are visible.
