“ We cancelled a sale for your security”

I received one of these messages from eBay. I’ve already posted the item with Tracked48. I don’t think there’s a way I can get Royal Mail to cancel the delivery. 

Any advice appreciated

Presumably that cancellation means that the buyer has received a refund.

I'd contact eBay in the morning and let them know that the item has already been posted out to the buyer, so what happens to your payment, given that they cancelled the order after the item was sent?

I also received one of these messages. As I recall there was a part of the message that told you what to do if the item had already been posted? In my case I had the package ready but had not sent it, as it was of low value, and the buyer had already paid, I sent the package anyway. I was not asked to give a refund, and all was well , I was paid and the buyer got their parcel. Perhaps your buyer`s account has been closed?
