I can see how it could work for some people ie those that can drop off on the way to work/school run/daily life and for items that are average value/size and easy to pack.
I personally need RM only and a collection (aside from the fact Evri is terrible in my area for deliveries, you only have to look on local fb groups and the ‘has anyone got this parcel as its not my door’ posts). I struggle with QR codes, I don’t use my phone (too tricky for my hands) and have to print a label. I resent the ‘surcharge’ of needing to keep to RM only because I have a disability and this is discriminating. Its a bit like being charged for a reasonable adjustment in my home by an outsider. By all means keep SD as those that like it/find it easy to use but for the love of life, please make it optional.
