Video upload option not showing when listing an item

Hi,

I am unable to upload videos when I list an item to sell.

The only option I have is photos.

Is there some button I need to press to enable it.

Use a PC / laptop and not the app or mobile browser, use Chrome that works bes.

Add one photo then this explains how to add a video to listings:

You can only add one video per listing, but you can use the same video on multiple listings - you just need to upload it once.

Upload a video using the new listing tool by selecting Add video from the Photos & Video section: -

It will only work also when listing a single item not multiple or trying to edit.

Thank you both for your help and responding to my query.

I clicked on the link you suggested then clicked on 'advanced listing tool' then
I clicked on 'Seller Hub Listings' this did changed all my price to american dollars.

I changed the website from .com to co.uk to get to the UK website. This did go to the UK site.

Then I clicked on 'Create Listing' then single listings. Now it shows the templates I created a few days ago but did not show before. I clicked on the template and the video option is showing.

I'll save the 'Sellers Hub' link to create my future listings.

I have the same issue and don't understand the explanation above about changing to US Dollars and .com to .co.uk and templates!

I have a draft listing that does not let me add video even if I add a photo and then try to add a video.

I think you need to start from fresh and do a single listing not multiple. Also I dont know if it will work from the app?, might need to use web browser.

If it doesn't work from the app, how crazy is that?  How many people use a phone to make their video, vs how many people using their desktop?

I ran into this a few months ago.  Gave up and haven't tried adding a video since.

I dont know if thats a fact but apps do tend to be stripped down and videos are not that common in listings

ROFL!  If it's insanely hard to add a video from ones phone to a listing, I wonder if that could have anything to do with them not being common!

I am not using the app nor am I setting up multiple listings.

I need to have a video to demonstrate that the item is working.

Oddly, I thought I would see if I could add video on my iPad and it turns out that I can! How weird is that?

 Sorry I do not use the phone to create listins, I did check it out and I also cannot see the video option on the phone.

Using the desktop, I found out by creating a template the video option shows.

after clicking the link then click 'Create Listing' then click 'Single listing.

You will see the option 'Your Templates' click on it to create a new template  and the video option will then show.

Direct link to the template which has the video option on it. You may need to log in to access.

I upload using my desktop.   I know its long winded but it seems to work for me. I take videos on my phone then upload it to dropbox. From dropbox I add it to the item on the desktop using the Chrome browser.

Thanks. I also use my phone for photos and then use the desktop to create the listings. Have not used templates and will give it a go.

In the meantime I have discovered that the video option is available using a browser on my iPad!
