Verifying Bank Account For Over a week

I've been waiting for a payout for over a week but eBay are still trying to verify my bank account. I've had 1p go in and 1p go out. Surely it can't take this long usually. I use one of the biggest banks in the world, I'm not sure why it's taking so long. They've not contacted me asking for anything else. Has anyone else experienced this?

I am still waiting micro transactions to hit my account. I spoke to one of there agents to be told just to wait. They have become a terrible company to use and very old fashioned time for a new platform to take over. This is the last time I will use eBay, after this payout I will stick to other sites.

How long have you been waiting?  Mine took 5 business days to appear ,  there's no warning,  they're suddenly there and tiny,  only a few pence each , so easily missed.

If a week has passed with no micro deposits sent,  contact Customer Services to send 2 more, otherwise it is a bit of a waiting game.

I've been experiencing this for over a week now. I'm a new seller and the customer service is an absolute disgrace. I've been given false and misleading information on a number of queries I have as a new seller and it's getting worrying. I've been asked to verify my bank details three times and my eBay balance is grey which won't allow me to withdraw anything. Beginning to feel scammed and considering closing my account ASAP

I have been waiting for 30 days! Spent over 17 hours on phone calls to them too!! They really don't care and offer the same excuses.

I've tried 3 different bank accounts now and I still have no way to receive a payout.

This all started with a glitch in their awful app whilst updating my details the first time around. 

I've been with ebay since 2014 and feel betrayed.

Hi *maetrix*, thanks for your reply.

Are you getting an error or something similar like that? If you are only getting a blank screen, I'd suggest trying with a different browser or clearing the caches and cookies of your current browser to see if that helps. If it doesn't, please take a screenshot of the blank page you get, and I'll be happy to take a further look.

the usual eBay excuses, delays and prevarication over letting us have our
money!

I've deleted / re-installed the app twice (ios26) ..am getting to the page where it asks me how much I want to withdraw,when I click on withdraw nothing happens,just a fairly blank screen...web version doesn't seem to have the transfer money option.

Been going on for a week now..Not impressed.

put the amount in before pressing the withdraw button?

Have done that..have withdrawn funds many times before without any problems..seems they don't want me to be able to take my own money out now.

What are they going to come up with next to pee me off?

I've just checked there for you, and the withdraw button is definitely there from the browser, I've tested it as well and you should be able to withdraw from the browser no problem. If you are using the browser from your mobile device, maybe you're missing it because the screen doesn't show the screen in full? If you zoom out or use the landscape mode and scroll around, you should be able to see it there.

For the app, can you confirm the eBay app full version number you have running on your device, and the full software version please, so I can take a further look for you?

I’m having the same issue, Nowhere does it have an option to enter the amount they deposited into my bank. I have been waiting for almost 2 weeks and today the ‘Withdraw’ button was finally not grey’d out,!I clicked the withdraw tab and entered the amount id like to withdraw to my bank account and now they’re saying I have to wait a further 5 days whilst they carry out some checks!! 
Every time I make a step forward they throw up another barrier, it’s absolutely no good at all, with today’s verification methods it should really only take a day or so to do what they need to do.

Another thing that makes me question them is they say my full balance is mine to spend on eBay, how can that be right?? If the funds are on hold whilst they do their checks then surely you wouldn’t be able to spend/buy things on eBay?? Everything I read about this subject all seems to be very similar issues, I really hope that someone with power will put a stop to this and make it so that sellers can get their money in a reasonable amount of time! 
They never say that there will be further waiting times so to me and as previously suggested on this forum/post it seems EBay are withholding our money for their own rewards/benefits. 

Absolutely appalling and it really puts me off using EBay to sell, I always thought that EBay was a reasonably well managed way of selling but now I’m very reluctant to use again.

The online help is utterly useless too, it’s like they know they won’t release your funds so ends up going round & round in circles.

Hope this is sorted immediately.

Absolutely shocking delay in receiving my funds. The item was delivered and acknowledged on Sunday 10/05/26 and today 18/05/26 I’m still waiting!!

first phone call advised two working days, second phone call said the bank i”ve used for years was unacceptable then third vsll said verification of my existing bank account would take 6/8 working days.  I can trsnsfer money in seconds why does it take ebay four days to transfer 1p

You are a new seller ( or a returning one ? ),  then  payouts are made this way below.

This was eBay's announcement last year.

From 6 August 2025,  we’re also making it easier and faster for our more experienced sellers to receive their funds. This means you can get your funds within 24 hours of the buyer paying. To qualify for faster payment, all you’ll need to do is:

• Complete at least 10 sales with a total of £150 or more within the last 5 years 
• Maintain 2 or fewer cases in the last 12 months
