Trying to pull a fast one...

Not technical issues at all - an individual trying it on! I sold a Sony Bluetooth Speaker & after receiving it, the buyer claims it wasn't working. Told him it was working perfectly before being posted out. He then didn't read the original listing correctly & then followed a deafening silence! Told him to send it back for a full refund but miraculously (a few minutes later...) the item was 'alright'

Amazing that eh??! Why do these people try to pull a fast one??!

Yes, this is why I also insist they open an eBay case for a full refund. Most don't bother as it's not what they are looking for.

Yep, there are those who try it on regularly.  But then again some sellers cause the problem too.

"Low value stuff I refund and just let them keep it .......".

So buyers try it on regardless.  Always insist they open a case - as you have found those who are genuinely wanting to return will, those who may have tried it once too often may be on eBay's radar as being a habitual 'chancer'.  Don't forget to block them.  Any hint of a problem I block them.  Can't be too careful nowadays.
