The damage claim is a dead-end

I sent my item with simple delivery-it was the only option. The item was stolen from the parcel, Evri literally delivered an empty parcel. I had to refund the buyer. But ebay and packlink has no option to damage claim and evri only has bots talking to me. I'm frustrated. Please let me know if you have any advice.

If your buyer had opened a return request using the reason 'Arrived damaged' then eBay would have just refunded the buyer at no cost to you and without any need for the buyer to actually return anything.  Unfortunately, now that you have refunded yourself there is probably not much you can do other than appeal to eBay.  You can't do anything with Evri as contractually eBay is the deemed sender not you. 

 

Packlink no longer has any involvement with Simple Delivery.  They were only involved at the pilot stage.

Business sellers using a business account (as ebay requires them to), have full control over postage methods and no buyer protection fee added.
