Simple Delivery on eBay is absolutely terrible. It severely limits sellers and doesn’t even include all the couriers I used before. Honestly, it feels like a disaster — I don’t know who came up with this system, but it looks like something pushed by Royal Mail and Evri lobbyists. Instead of helping sellers, it makes things harder and less flexible. Because of this nonsense, I’m gradually moving my sales to other platforms like Vinted and Amazon Marketplace, where I actually have choice and freedom. eBay, this is a huge step backwards!
Below is what my sales look like after introducing Simply Delivery without the Royal Mail 2nd Class shipping option – a total failure.

Perhaps SD will be the default for all and you could pay a small fee to Ebay for the 'benefit' of opting a listing out? For 30 days?
Actually, to be fair - this is indeed what TikTok Shop have just introduced. You have to pay a fee if you DON'T use their postage labels.

"You have to pay a fee if you DON'T use their postage labels."
Effectively what private sellers who do not use the SD label provided and arrange their own postage are already doing.
Now if only Ebay could find a way of not refunding the buyers for postage too...?
