Simple delivery

Hi I am struggling with my listings and simple delivery.

I cannot follow why some items will not allow me to register my postage cost. How can I opt out?

Also the costs are often more than I would list. Also there is no way that the costs of printing and packaging can be reclaimed via simple delivery. Any advice would be appreciated. Regards John

What are you tryong to list? Opt outscare by category. Go to help, type Simple Delivery, look at the exemptions list. CDs are exempt i believe.

As an aside, one thing that might help on your listings would be to add the word "book" to the titles.

Unfortunately, for most items, Simple Delivery is now mandatory - you can't opt out!

It is no longer possible to set your own postage prices - the prices are set by eBay, so packaging costs etc have to be included in the item price.

Have a look at some of the many posts about Simple Delivery on the forum - most of the issues will have been discussed, & will bring you up to speed...

Do you know you can opt out of Simple Delivery by switching your Private Account to a Business Account? With nearly 5000 items listed, this looks like the best option.
