Simple delivery when listing an item

Hi all,

Trying to list an item that I will be posting by Royal Mail Tracked 48 to ensure receipt and tracking so I get paid within 2 days.

When I get to the postage, it suggests I use Simple Delivery and shows buyer will pay FROM £3.71 as  it is a small parcel.

How is this correct as RM is £3.39

You can opt out of Simple Delivery and then choose the postage you want.  Opt out during the listing process via the Custom Postage option or the postage options icon on the right of the postage section.   If you have any problems with that remove details of parcel, eg. weight, and buy your own postage.

Ebay announced new prices for Simple Delivery recently and, yes, they are charging more than royal mail for certain weights of parcel, if you use simple delivery.

I have no options to opt out of simple delivery. Or to offer free post.

Simple Delivery is not compulsory..... yet,  so you can opt out if you wish.  I believe you'll need a laptop / PC and use Chrome for this,  not the app or mobile browser.

When creating a new listing here's how to opt out:

 Click on Collection then straight away back to and click on Postage Only, and the Custom option shows,  you are then able to select the postage service and cost you wish to use.
