Newly listed items not appearing in my 'Seller's Other Items' link.

I’ve recently been finding that some of my new listings don’t appear in the ‘Seller’s Other Items’ list. They appear in my own Selling Overview page when I click on the ‘Active’ sub-heading’ but they can’t be found either by searching generally on eBay, or by clicking on my own ‘Seller’s Other Items’ link. The listings are effectively invisible everywhere except my Selling Overview page, so no one can actually buy them. I’m selling comics and SF paperbacks, and there appears to be no particular pattern to which listings appear and which don’t. It’s definitely not the items themselves, because I can change a listing that has appeared to look like a listing that hasn’t appeared. Is anyone else having this happen to them? Does anyone know what’s causing it? It started happening a few months ago, and seems to be getting worse.

Are you using promotions on any of your listings?

If not, I *think* ebay have recently actually admitted to not showing some private selling listings in order to 'enhance buyer's experience'. 

No, I don't know how that 'enhances' anything either.....

Yeah, it popped up on one of these threads only a day or 2 ago (sorry I can't remember which one!)  : somebody had spotted it in one of the bits of blurb that has come out of ebay towers recently....

No, I don't use promotions at all. The weirdest part of it is not being able to list a random book, but then if I list a (more or less blank) template, that will appear, and then I can change the template listing details to reflect the specific book, and all is well, though obviously this is far more time consuming as I'm essentially having to make two listings and then change the second listing, just to get a single listing to appear in my sales feed. Madness.

Sometimes, it can take up to 48 hours for listings to be visible. If it's been more than 48 hours, and your items are still not visible, could you please confirm 1 or 2 items numbers, so I can take a look for you please?

Thanks, Marco. I'd actually deleted the troublesome listings, but I'm sure I'll have some more when I do my next listings. I'll keep those when they occur and contact you if they're still not visible after 48 hours. I appreciate your offer of help. 🙂
