Simple delivery - over estimated postage

All my slides are under the £10.00 limit and fit into a standard 1st. class letter, yet Ebay  have changed the format to simple delivery 'Large Letter' showing £2.72 postage instead of £1.70.  Any way of amending this error.

Yep,  it is an issue eBay are aware of and say they are working on it ? 🤔

I don't think Collectables > Photographic Images > Film Slides is a category you can opt out on. So no.

For subcategories which are not in the opt-out list? Or do you think Film Slides is in the opt-out list?

You’d think every category which is under 100g for sure would be included 🤷🏼‍♀️ 

 DVDs are allowed but not slides? Makes little sense. Maybe they haven’t finished going through all the subcategories  yet

try listing or revising under films&tv/film memorabilia/other film memorabilia

custom should come up for you there 🤞Eta 

or  maybe collectables/historical memorabilia/ other historical memorabilia

Well, for some reason, ebay doesn't. I don't think the example list has grown much in the last 3 months.

No it hasn’t , but  it does say at the end of the list, you will see when listing if other items are exempt 

But people can’t get custom postage even on items in that list 

I think it’s time ebay did a help page on custom delivery  or fix it

People can try this - on a web browser. I'm happy to try a few subcategories anyone has an issue with - if they are on the opt out list.
