Simple delivery, exceptions ?

"Starting from 15 AprilSimple Delivery will be the only delivery method available for private sellers when listing most items. There’ll be a few exceptions, such as low-priced, bulky items, and local pick-up, which aren’t eligible for Simple Delivery."

The presence of a comma in between 'low cost' and 'bulky' would  grammatically indicate that they form part of a list (with 'local pick-up being the last item in that list) and so they are separate items.....but hey this is Ebay and we now that normal rules don't apply....

But if this is the case what is the definition of 'low cost'

Re: Simple delivery, exceptions ?

I have just read it and it is going to be mandatory for new listings from now and previous ones from 7th April. Are we reading 2 different notices?

Re: Simple delivery, exceptions ?

I got that email. My grammar is not great. I am therefore, confused!

Low cost, bulky items and local pick up = a very big balloon filled with helium in a box picked up by customer?

Low cost, bulky items and local pick up

= low cost, less than £5 /4/3/2 /1? Can't be less than 99p cause they dont allow it.

= bulky items =  any item, at any cost, which is bigger than any of the postage deals allow.

= local pick up = anything picked up by customer.

OR

Low cost, bulky items and local pick up

= low cost, less than £5 /4/3/2 /1? Can't be less than 99p cause they dont allow it AND and

bulky  =  any item, of low cost, which is bigger than any of the postage deals allow.

= local pick up = anything picked up by customer.

On the basis that they haven't found a way to charge for local pick up and only one way of reading it it allows for high cost bulky items to be sent, it must be option 2.

marco@ebay can you tell what the low price is please?

Re: Simple delivery, exceptions ?

Well my grammar is good and the presence of the comma indicates that it does not apply to low cost items...I'm sure that Ebay wouldn't try and mislead anyone or post something that is ambiguous or misleading would they ?
