I am a private seller with about 160 items, many of which are quite heavy and large. Ebay have changed all my previous postage settings to Simple Delivery. Yesterday, I had a situation where the lamp I was shipping was FAR bigger and heavier than they had decided it was. The buyer was charged £ 3.09 postage for something that cost me £ 12.35 to ship. My original postage cost in my advert has just disappeared altogether. So Ebay have been paid £ 3.09 for a service I didn't actually use (couldn't have if I tried as neither Evri nor Royal Mail would have accepted the parcel size) and I haven't been paid anything for postage by anybody at all.
A few of my items have been changed to "Collection Only", even though I previously offered delivery. This is seriously limiting the client base and means I can't ship abroad anymore because the Global Shipping Centre are not going to come to my house to collect an item.
This new system is CRAZY!!! Please can we go back to the way things were?

If you used the eBay 'recommended' postage option in the listing (or if it was a live listing that eBay changed to SD) then you should have used the label. There are arrangements in place for RM & Evri to accept SD parcels, as long as the parcel is within their maximum size/weight limit.
Just check your listings, and put any eBay have changed to collection only, back to post (with or without collection).

If you try and combine items it's the same. Just cost £3.38 for a label I don't need. Absolute shambles.
