Simple Delivery Royal Mail Collection Rebooking

Has anyone found a  way of rebooking a Simple Delivery Royal Mail Collection from home? I had a collection booked, but it didn't happen. I suspect this was because Ebay didn't book it properly, although it could have been Royal Mail not having a postie available. Now I can't rebook a new collection date - Ebay's website hangs when I try it. Ebay Customer support suggest there is currently a problem with their link to Royal Mail Collection bookings and will look into it. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Do you have to cancel the original collection before they will let you rebook? Or is this the eBay page you're not able to get to, due to the link problem?

Wondering if it would be possible to rebook a collection directly from the RM website? You would have to pay the 30p collection fee.

Thanks for the suggestion. There is no obvious way to cancel the original collection. Is this option to cancel in the Schedule Collection option (that isn't working)?

Whilst I could try and rebook a collection directly I don't see why I should have to pay an extra 30p fee given the original collection wasn't booked properly. Or will Ebay refund this as it was a problem with Simple Delivery?!

Hopefully someone will be able to suggest what might be causing the problem, & if there is a way for you to rebook on eBay, without you needing to book directly with RM.

Did you actually get a confirmation email for the collection?

Thanks for pointing out the other thread.

I didn't get a collection confirmation from Royal Mail which is why I think this is a problem caused by Ebay. 

I'm currently suspending all my selling with postage until this is resolved.

As far as I know, clicking on 'Get postage label' & then booking the collection & opening the label, should trigger the RM collection confirmation email, but obviously something went wrong if you never got the email. You're not the only one this has happened to, so hopefully it will be sorted out asap.
