I think the Send Offer function has some basic flaws for sellers that need addressing. I tend to send offers to anyone that might be interested as soon as an item becomes eligible. But that creates a problem. If other people watch an item after the offer is sent you can't send further offers until the current offer has ended, and now ebay has extended the offer period that can be several days. Sellers should be able to send further offers or retract the current offer if the watcher is showing no interest. It wasn't too bad when you could choose how long to send an offer for, but that doesn't seem to be an option now.
