Do not buy anything from these scammers. Sell dodgy products that fail shortly after buying them but sadly eBay won’t step in because it’s outside of their 30 day protection rule! I didn’t use the drill for 2 months and it failed after 6! EBay seriously need to review their buyer protection policies as they simply abandon you after 30 days. That’s a rubbish policy. Amazon look after their customers and sort issues out by refunding first and sorting later!

Mmmm, I understand that Amazon too,   have a 30 day return policy for faulty items.  This is their policy....

Amazon generally has a 30-day return period for faulty items. If you receive an item sold or fulfilled by Amazon that is defective, damaged, or doesn't match the description, you can initiate a return within 30 days of receipt.

Annoying and frustrating when an item fails when you buy online, but you must test it out on receipt,  and  not 2 months later,  as you'll find not only eBay but many online platforms will not refund after that length of time.

You can try and turn to your payment provider now for help with your refund.
