You can keep eBay and spread yourself around the web. I’m on the big A, vinted (tend to buy only ), Depop is were you find me most days. And i buy predominantly on Etsy as very quick to find items on there unlike on here.

Ebay is dead.

I have never see it so bad.

I withdrew all my items because no one is buying and I wasn't getting any views.

This never used to happen before the introduced all this listing promotion fee rubbish.

I am not paying extra to sell my item on here and have them take a final value free too.

It's a case of taking the mick too far and I can't see sellers wanting to come back.

Ebay RIP 2025.

I get higher Organic views/sales than Promoted Views/sales.

Good job I do not pay for the Standard Promoted if sold via Organic views.

I've only today read your post #19 where you quote me, so a brief up-date.

On 4/11 (two days after the start of this thread) I listed a rare Brockwitz glass bowl as a 7 day auction.  Starting bid £95 + £7.95 P&P.  A reduction of £15 on the price I have it listed for on the other site I use, to reflect ebay's introduction of Free to Sell.

At the time there was one other listed on ebay .uk at £168 + postage from the US of about £30(?).   Not too many years ago such an item would have had dozens of views from collectors (and others) out of interest in something so rarely seen.  It would likely have sold for considerably more than the starting bid.

I noted when doing some price research before listing that two different bowls from the same product range and shown in the same 1930's catalogue had recently sold for well over £100 each.  Only 1 is still on the Sold page, it went for £138 with 10 bids.  Presumably they were sponsored at something around what ebay recommended I sponsor my bowl at  -- 12.6%.

I didn't sponsor my bowl.  It finished the week with 17 views, 3 watchers (two of whom are still watching and waiting for a fire-sale offer this morning) and 0 bids.

I ask myself, how "Free" is Free to Sell if I have to give ebay 12.6% to sell something / anything?

I've got a Spell-Check back again but with a different format.🍾

Thank you Brexit, before you say yes but I'm a UK seller, it doesn't matter the economy is has tanked. i work for Parcel Force and the exports have fallen, wait for it. 82% imagine what that is doing to the UK economy.
