Sales nose diving down 50% since the "buyer protection scam"

So i only sale a few items a month, always the same sort of stuff, breaking up a large collection, but in the last month things have completely stalled, and buyers are making stupid low offers. Anyone else seen this , More classic ebay thinking.

Just been checking out your items and when looking at your uniform book there's one directly underneath it selling for half the price. I'm not saying your asking too much but is it fair for ebay to put adds for other peoples items on listings, and does it encourage people to keep on scrolling down to the description?

Just curious about the auction bids or best offer, just find that a little confusing looking in from a buyers prospective.

Roman brooch is penguin pi** cool 👍

A month on from your thread  -   over the last couple of days I've been talking to relatives in Australia and the USA & of course, the subject of eBay's UK Simple Delivery & Buyer's fees came up.

I have a business account, but I help with my Sister's Private eBay Account I informed them she was selling only a few items at reduced prices.  It surprised me when both relatives said their sales within their own Countries were good & they were not having to drop prices at all.

So, I checked out the Private Seller's Accounts on eBays Australia & USA sites by looking at the same type of low value sewing items my sister sells.  I found the similar vintage items (with the same manufacturers name) listed at 3 times the price she is listing at in the UK. I looked further into the amount these Private Sellers are selling each month & they showed high numbers.

The Australian & USA eBay sites had the feel of how eBay UK was 5 years ago, busy & interesting.

eBay UK needs to revert back to Seller's Fees & let their customers (Sellers and Buyers) benefit from a busy, profitable & interesting selling environment.
