I had a couple of items listed on eBay from before they introduced simple delivery, when the items automatically relisted, I didn't realize eBay changed the postage from small parcel to large letter, when an item sold, I paid for the postage myself as eBays prepaid label wouldn't cover the postage, I contacted eBay and asked them to send me the money that the buyer has paid for postage so I can at least recoup some of the postage cost, amazingly they said as I didn't use the prepaid label the postage will get refunded to the buyer, in this situation do eBay really refund the postage to the buyer or do they keep the money for themselves?
I then asked how do I complain to eBay, I was told I can't do it myself and they would do it for me, I was about to provide details and they said they've done it, all they put was that I wanted to complain about simple delivery, nothing about the postage being refunded to the buyer instead of given to me, they then said they've done their job and hung up on me, great customer service.
