This simple delivery simply cannot be justified. Forced to send by the worst delivery company in the world ( so almost certain to lose your parcel) or Royal Mail - safer but Ebay are charging £4.48 for a postal service that is £3.45 ?.....Is that not illegal ? .
There is no Royal Mail 1kg service so how can Ebay make up one the way they have ?.
Item under £5 are supposed to be exempt - NOT TRUE.
Ebay wanted me to send a £3.50 Item by paying £4.48 there was a work around so it was sent for £2.70.
Not content with money grabbing through the Buyer Fee but they are now profiteering from postage by charging more than the over the counter or on line actual cost.
I have tried Depop but in over a year I have not sold one item and even the views are few and far between.
Gumtree - no view and no sales in a year.
Vinted is better but still less sales than on Ebay.
IS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE ?
I know everyone else is in the same predicament but does anyone know why Ebay appear to want private seller off the site ?.
Why ? Is the only question really.
