Qualifying for Faster Payments

Hi All, I have recently started to sell items as a Private seller. During my initial month I managed to achieve the required 10 sales, £150+ and no disputes with just 1 item still pending delivery in the last 24 hours. However my evaluation took place today and now my qualification is back to zero or blank? Does this reset within a specific timescale? Confused, tried the chat support which could not work out what I was asking, so asking the community for their comments. Thanks.

It may be that ebay actually requires the 10 sales to be 10 that have received feedback, rather than just a straight 10 from your sales record.

Re: Qualifying for Faster Payments

Hi,

I have checked with customer services and they have confirmed that it is a technical issue impacting other ebay users. This is being resolved at the moment and I should be added to the faster payments by end of next week. The criteria is 10 sales >£150 and 2 or less disputes. They take information from all sales completed in the past 5 years. Dont have to wait for any feedback or delivery completed, is how this is normally working. Also takes 15 days to update potentially from the sale date of an item.

Re: Qualifying for Faster Payments

Hi stedav_7438, thanks for your post.

This is a technical issue from our end, and we are currently working on it to get it resolved. At the moment, we don't have an estimated fix time, but once that's sorted, I will update you over here.

Thank you,

Marco

The criteria states:

"You can track your progress toward meeting these criteria in the Payments tab of My eBay or Seller Hub.. We’ll evaluate each order for 15 days after it's placed before adding it to the tracker"

How long has it been since your 10th sale? Looking at your sold items your 10th sale appears to have been on 18th January so that sale won't be counted for the purposes of faster payouts until 2nd February.

If an eBay customer services representative told me the sky was blue I'd still stick my head of out the window to check.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

I've just seen Marco's post which confirms what you were told by eBay's CS. I'll close the window now 😀

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

Thanks for your reply, codeandkoi

I've added you to the technical report, so this can be resolved for you too. As advised above, once this is resolved, I will post back here to let you know.

Thank you,

Marco

Re: Qualifying for Faster Payments

Thanks all for contributions and messages, and yes I should certainly take the CS messages received with a pinch of salt. The latest is that I am now showing progress numbers back in the tracker, however this are very out-dated as it shows I still only have 2 sales and £44 value. But I will take into account it takes 15 days per sale to update the tracker. So by the 2nd Feb it should show as updated with all my sales and I can immediately start to benefit from the faster payments - fingers crossed!

Re: Qualifying for Faster Payments

Hi All, I can now see my progress has been updated. Thanks Marco for arranging this to be corrected. Just now need to wait another 7 days for my final sales and value to come through to get me onto faster payments.

Re: Qualifying for Faster Payments

I’m having this same issue, can you share on how you fixed it please? Says I have 3 sales but I have over 15 and I always ship sales either same day or following morning, the other 2 requirements are both ticked but not the sales
