I am about to sell at least 7 items in auctions that end in one day. I will be going to the post office and getting them to scan the QR code and print the lables for me. Has anyone figured out a system to ensure that the QR code you give matches the parcel you give to the post office person? I'm worried that with my old eyesight, fumbling with the ebay app on my mobile in a busy post office I'm going to end up sending parcels to the wrong people.

Write the name and postcode on each parcel?
Make sure that the PO prints one label and sticks it on before moving on to the next?

Depending on your QR code reading device:
Move the code image to Gallery / Photos and then edit / write to include a small colour dot in the corner and match with similarly marked parcel.
Or move to Memo Pad or similar file system and tag it with a number / contents / seller, remembering again to mark on the corresponding parcel.
Some QR code readers allow you to save / share with and then select the file where to save it... much easier!

Forgot to say that as a QR Code is just an image you could opt to move it to a newly created purpose-built folder of your own, within which you have created sub-folders named for details relating to / contents of each parcel, again marking the relevant parcel with a small number or coloured mark.

Either write the recipient's name on the packaging, or if not possible, attach a small sticker with the name on it - you could ask the PO to place their label over it.
Don't bother faffing about with colour coding - that's just another recipe for disaster. Unlike eBay has been doing, keep it as simple as you can.

As already advised write the details on each parcel or what i do is print off the labels myself and put them on each parcel, Although you need a printer and paper. I rarely use QR codes,
too many variables, No signal in Post Office {although can be screenshot beforehand}
Relying on another person to stick the correct labels on each parcel.
I like to know my labels are correctly done by myself,
no chance of peeling off unlike if PO assistant not applying correctly.
Thats just me ,If i make a mistake its on myself 😀

The OP said he does not want to open up the eBay app to access all the different codes when in "a busy post office", which your suggestion would necessitate.
And to correct myself: my anwers obviously need the op to install a QR Code reader to his device, if he hadn't already realised this for himself.

Oh for the simplicity of stamps

I can't use my phone for these either - so how it's supposed to be Simple eludes me!
Two fifths of the UK population are aged 50 and over - not everyone uses a smart phone, and not everyone can use tech like the younger generation who grew up with a mobile phone from age 7 or so. The company I left in 2011 only introduced computers during 2010! But it was only the family members who got training (not me) nepotism reigned!
Fortunately when (and if) I go back to selling I will print them off myself as I have a home printer. If you don't then you can often get things printed at a library if you are a member if the barcodes in a PO doesn't work out.
As the queues in POs are often quite long I understand your predicament. Am sure you will get the hang of it - just remember if someone else in front of you has the same problem you will just have to wait until they manage. Those behind you will just have to do the same. Good luck!
