Postage

Last week Ebay gave me the option of deciding on postage cost but only for a couple of days. The amount of £2.72 is completely unreasonable for small, light items.

The cost of a standard letter (24mm x 16.6mm with depth 0.5mm and weight max 100g) is £0.87 and this is what I was registered to do. Why change it?

The conversations with eBay advisors was useless and after waiting long over 30 mins on three occasions they showed no concern or understanding.

Postage

No need to talk to eBay about this,  as Simple Delivery is now mandatory for all Private sellers,  but some items are exempt,  yours if £10 or under and weighing less than 100g are exempt from SD.

Saying the above,  there is currently an issue some ( all ?) are having finding Custom Postage for those items.

If you cannot find custom postage then try the link below and go to Solution and Rick's answer, adapt his answer to your items.

A faff I know but it is a good current workaround !

Postage

Looking at your stuff, badges and patches should come up with custom postage

its very glitchy on the browser version

if it doesn’t appear try this

after you put in your (under £10) price , try toggling somewhere to get the system to update  and it might bring it up

ie

click on a different  postage box (collection only , postage and collection etc)  or on “seller pays” under the SD postage cost 2.72

if it updates , then just toggle back to where you want it to be
