Postage costs

Hi  can anyone help me please.  I have been selling on eBay for a long time and recently so many changes on this platform I find it more and more difficult to sell, they are making things difficult.  I am having a problem understanding how I can be charged for postage when I have listed as buyer pays and the buyer has paid and I too have been charged for the postage.  I checked with eBay and their help service came back and said it is refunded once the buyer pays but that is not right.  I checked the statements and I have paid for the postage.  My listings clearly say buyer pays so I cannot understand what is happening or what to do because it adds up to quite a bit of money.  My deductions for postage are clearly listed on my monthly statement.  I keep getting different replies from the help centre, all conflicting! Any help please?

Thanks

Re: Postage costs

Can you give us an example listing where this happened and also take a look and let us know how much you received as a payout for that listing please?

Re: Postage costs

Sounds like you're buying a label when eBay are providing one through simple delivery

Re: Postage costs

Hi jimgiraffe, thanks for your post.

If you set up your listings for buyers to pay for shipping, you shouldn't be charged for shipping. Please note that now we provide you with the shipping label and you don't have to purchase it yourself anymore. If you confirm an item number or 2 as examples, I can take a further look for you no problem in case there is something wrong in your account.

Thank you,

Marco
