eBay, Please STOP making changes that are more of an annoyance!
I listed an item a few days ago, Specifically Selected Royal mail for postage only.
Few days later item sells, And it no longer openly lists the address to send it too so i can copy and paste into royal mail manually myself....instead wants me to do a "Pre-paid" QR code for Evri...which i don't want to use as they're terrible.
The ONLY way i could get it to show me the buyers full address is to let it generate the QR code for evri..but now evri will be expecting a parcel they'll never receive.
Please stop with these nonsense changes to the platform, Its NOT making it easier for the seller, Just annoying them, This change alone makes me want to leave the platform.

Sounds like you used simple delivery where the buyer pays for the label and you get a QR code to use or print with their address. This will also have all the tracking information for you to get paid. This is catching a lot of people out.

Totally agrree. This is a real negative step. I feel out of control with MY CUSTOMERS, it is not what I want at all.

I've been using Royal Mail Click and Drop. It integrated with my eBay account, RM would collect my parcel and even bring the label. This was ideal because I'm disabled and often housebound. Between this and "buyer protection" which is a stealth tax on sellers, eBay have lost my custom.

Royal Mail collection is still possible with Simple Delivery including the 'Bring my label' feature:
If you have a Royal Mail label, you can book a collection on eBay. Royal Mail can then collect your item and also bring the label for you if you don't have a printer. You'll need to book the collection before you create your prepaid label. Here's how:
Once you've booked your collection, you won't be able to change the date. If you miss your collection, you can book it again for another date on the Royal Mail website.

Well said, if eBay wants to make changes speak to us first. They made us wait for 2 days after delivery for payment now they are backtracking on that. eBay stop making idiotic changes and grow up. it was fine before, I want to choose the postage myself not be treated like a child.

What you can do is to find an old listing WITH CUSTOM POSTAGE  eg previously a large letter cost £1.55. You hover on the listing and find SELL SIMILAR and just make use of the CUSTOM POSTAGE format which allows you to enter your own price.  Whatever you do, YOU MUST IGNORE Package size Large letter. Totally ignore this. Go for Custom Postage and click on + Add additional services and you can choose Royal Mail and ENTER YOUR OWN PRICE.
IGNORE LARGE LETTER AT ALL COST. Just click Custom Postage  and click + Add additional services and choose Royal Mail and the old postage cost box will appear.
ENTER YOUR OWN POSTAGE COST.

I still can’t understand why a multi billion pound company can not even organise a pee up in a brewery
why is that ?? It’s not money related /lack of resources so what is it
Amazon and other professional companies don’t seem to have this problem
so is eBay an unprofessional company? Seems like it
but even if it’s happy to be itself it can’t be happy to not be able to control itself ???? To not be able to do what it says on the tin?therefore putting its customers out financially and in other ways … Weird position

Yes I totally agree with what you have just said, if somethings not broken, then don’t try and fix it!!! Why eBay thinks this helps anyone I do not know, also I offer free postage on all of my items, so why can’t this be an option instead of being forced on to sellers!!! I’d like the option to send 24 hour tracked with a signature, or special delivery etc what if I running a day late to the post office, now and again this happens so I would send item by special delivery so customer still receives item on time… also this new QR system, means mistakes could happen sending incorrect parcels to people having to do it all at the postoffice with added pressure of the queue building up behind you… I’m seriously just considering moving my items to ETSY or VINTED moving forward as slowly over the years EBAY has slowly been losing a lot of the stuff I originally liked about their platform!!! SORT IT OUT EBAY AS I KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY ONE YOUR AT RISK OF LOSING!!!

Given your a private seller, only fair to advise what the fees are on Vinted and Etsy
Vinted is similar to eBay with a BPF and something akin to Simple Delivery. You can’t set free delivery on Vinted
Etsy
It costs £0.15 to publish a listing to the marketplace. A listing lasts for four months or until the item is sold. Once an item sells, there is a 6.5% transaction fee on the sale price (including the delivery price you set). If you accept payments through Etsy Payments, they also collect a 4% + £0.20 payment processing fee when an item is sold.
