I had a couple of live listings on my private account when SD was introduced,
Got the memo saying dont worry, all will be overided, SD will now be the way, Had a few sales, all good
So i've just gone to list new listings and Ive still got a Postage Policy section, is there a reason?
Additionally I've listed a new larger listing so my old postage poilcy of Small Parcel would not have been appropriate so created a Medium policy and its all got messy, not being recognised.
Are Postage Policies need any more?
All confusing and cant even find a recognised YT channel to find out

Using SD, eBay works out the size & weight of the parcel postage, but when you are listing an item, it is a good idea to already know the size and weight of your parcel.
You can choose the correct postage from the SD drop down menu on the listing.
Regarding Postage Policies these can be used on an item sent by 'Custom' postage with a RM Letter or Large Letter size weighing 100g, not all categories are included.

At the moment you are only selling four items, so why you are taking the time to set up Postage Policies? Surely you are spending more time on them then just doing as @ile136yz says! Personally I use SD, or hand-entering the odd Custom Postage item.
That said, I do have International Rate Tables set up. It took way too much time and YT videos to overcome my initial confusion about it, but saves enough time in the long run to be worth the extra effort.

The policies were left over from the introduction of SD, I created new as the exiiting policies related to Small Parcels, and I was sending Medium/Large parcels, more concerned about incorrect potage being applied and the parcel not getting there
Now the ol' grey matter has kicked in I am guessing its due to exisiting templates containing policies,
