Phantom views. I'm getting organic views when I have had no live listings for over 2 months.

I ended all my listings over 2 months ago and have no live listings at all.

In my performance, it is telling me I have had 56 organic views so far today!

These are the daily figures for the last week:

These are all phantom organic views for non-existent listings.

Why would that be?

It's hard to have trust in a platform where everything seems to be fake these days.

You have been posting on the forum. Likely people have clicked on your sold listings in the past 90 days to have a nosey.

That's interesting. So, are you saying the performance is giving organic views for sold items? That seems rather pointless as you would only want to know how many views you are getting for your items for sale. Including sold items would skew the figures.

I think it does but only based on the fact that I have clicked on sold listings of mine to do a sell similar and when I go into the old listing it will sometimes have the banner of how many times it has been viewed in the past 24 hours.

Perhaps the phantom views are coming from all the restless souls/post BPF eBayers, with nowhere to go & nothing to do, except wander around eBay for all eternity, looking at all the things they used to sell...? 👻👻👻
