Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.
I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo.
anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

Same problem for me. To add insult to injury, when you go to the Help & Contact section, it says, "Seller help is becoming more personalised..." And then it sends you down a rabbit hole of articles and, finally, the option to message the automated assistant. Automated assistant didn't understand my question, and when I'd rephrased it 3 times, it came up with, "Sorry, I'm unable to complete your request right now. Please wait and try again later." Yes, very personalised help! I think the only way eBay will ever change things for the better is if sellers vote with their feet...

Same here
Causing so many problems. Buying and selling is not a easy experience due to all these changes.
Combining invoices or even sending them isn't easy now.
And when I've bought multiple items I've had to pay full postage to be refunded difference by seller.
Its really inconvenient

Surely, especially if the seller mentions combined shipping in their narrative , you could simply cancel the order, rather than trust the seller to refund you?
Trust is not a strong trait these days on this platform, is it an absence of trust that ebay use as an excuse for holding payments until after delivery?

Do you need trust? I think a seller that mentioned combined shipping would be quite foolhardy not to give it. Several "Item not as described" and negative feedbacks would surely follow. One for each of the "combined" items.

Yes i have found this to be an issue and bloody annoying too!
I now have sniper bidders or late bidders who tend to not pay until they feel like they want too or even don't pay at all. I used to send invoices as a reminder and now Ebay have removed this privilege yet without any reason.
Why can't Ebay set up an automatic payment system for these bidders who snipe deals and don't pay. Surely this will deter these idiots from doing this and most of all get sellers paid! Any bid placed within two hours of a listing ending should have to pay ASAP and not have the seller wait 4 days then go down the cancellation route.

How would you go about with the use of combined mailing (Assuming the product suits that)?
Ecological essentials all round, Buyer saves on shipping costs, Seller Saves on Packaging and Entering into the postal system, additional sales to the specific buyer, and reduced fees to ebay.
Remember ebay encourage members to join without vetting, its a shame the sellers have to carry the burdon for ebays lack of interest and greed.

Come on, eBay, pull your finger out. I am losing business because I cannot issue invoices with reduced postage for multiple purchases. Purchasers are generally unwilling to pay racked up postage costs in the hope that a refund will be made. That is not the solution.
