Not being paid at usual time

eBay eventually started to send funds the next day after an item was sold usually by 2 am.  Today I got a message saying that I would be paid within 24 hours after a sale for having a good sales record.  Is this a joke. Is it supposed to be a reward. Because it is not working.  It is now 5.15 am and my funds are still not in my account. Why not I want to know why eBay thinks paying me later than the usual is some kind of reward. Comments please.

Yep,  that message is just confirming ( not a reward)  eBay's new announcement,  that tracking  showing delivery now is not the factor to release payouts sooner,  but if your account is in good standing meaning no defects in the last 12 months and sales over £150 over the last 5 years.

I would imagine your funds will be with you sometime later this morning.

Same here, funds are usually available to withdraw first thing in the morning. Mine are still not clear this morning, but showing funds processing due to clear today. A bit frustrating and worrying!

Have you tried to contact CS,  to see if there is any issue with today's payouts?  They may have an answer.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

I spoke to customer service.  He didn't understand how I was expecting payment today? He said that I should get payment once I got a label? I explained to him that I always received payment the day after the sale but he didn't understand. He then suggested I revise my listings?  I explained to him again that I always received payment the day after a sale because I have been selling for 24 years and have a long selling history.  He said I would definitely  get payment today, 100 % sure.  Let's see shall we !!!

Revise all your listings how on earth would that speed up payouts!!  🙄

Oh dear definitely do not do that!

All I can suggest, if payment is not with you tomorrow morn, then contact CS , but only first thing when lines for 'live agents' open,   as at 8 a.m. there's more chance of Dublin answering,  only speak to them.  With that Call Back system,  you'll hear if it's the dulcet tones of the Emerald Isles.

Hi daisy-fairy, thanks for your post.

Could you please elaborate this further? As in what exactly is the issue, is it funds being held, or payouts taking longer to hit your bank account from the moment you withdraw your funds, or is it taking longer for them to become available? If you could confirm where did you receive the message you're referring to as well, I can take a further look no problem.

I always received funds the day after I have sold something.  Not yesterday however.  I booked a call yesterday to find out what was going on. An Irish guy phoned me back and quite frankly he had no idea what to say.  He suggested I relist items,  promote items.  He suggested I add more specifics. I listened to this nonsense in disbelief. I told him the funds were not on hold and this had happened to others on eBay community who commented when I posted.  He assured me I would receive my funds yesterday but I did not believe him.  Sure enough I did not receive funds yesterday but in the early hours of today.  I also asked him why my front eBay page says you have no active listings.  It has been saying that for two weeks.  He said he could see 122 listings but he could not discuss that because he could only discuss the payment issue. At this point I gave up.

I need answers.  Sales are none existent.  Can anyone see my listings.  Am I just wasting my time. I have been selling on eBay for 24 years but simple delivery has put me off and no one has the knowledge to fix the problems.  Bring back royal mail first class tracked

And stop limiting the size of items you can sell.

I was checking for you there, and I see no hold, and all your payouts seem to be working correctly (including the withdraw option), I understand that you normally receive your funds within 24 hours, but please note that at times it could take longer, as it always depends on banks processing times.

While normally you receive your funds within 24 hours, some other times could take slightly longer or shorter, that's why we always say that it could take up to 4 business days for the funds to hit your bank account, you can confirm this here if you wish. I can see your funds were received ok within all the time frames, so there is no issue at all here as far as I can see.

Regarding your listing, I can see your listings ok, I am not sure if the agent you spoke to maybe some opportunities and shared them with you, but I've just checked and we can definitely see them live.

You do not understand what I am telling you.  It is nothing to do with the bank. The problem is when my payout is available for me to withdraw from eBay. If I sell something on say Monday I can withdraw it from eBay on Tuesday in the early hours and it will be in my bank within minutes.  The problem is to this did not happen yesterday and I want to know why and if this is going to be an ongoing thing.  I know there are no payment holds.  Also, you say you can see my listings but can everyone else.  My front page still keeps saying you have no active listings.  If you do not know why it is saying that then can you ask someone in technical because it is happening for a reason and I am not putting anything else on until it is resolved.
